Last night’s Daily Show featured a rant by host Jon Stewart about Twitter, in which he works himself into a high dudgeon over the fascination held by politicians and media figures alike for tweeting their every thought, even during a major address by the president.
Stewart relishes the role of curmudgeon, and his satirical points about the ADD nature of social media, and rising fears of irrelevance among members of the mainstream media, are spot-on.
Hat tip: @tuffyabel who originally got the link via Twitter and then retweeted it (naturally).
Update: A similar take in Doonesbury.
