Time Warner’s celebrity gossip site TMZ.com regularly roves around Los Angeles setting up Webcams outside locations like the upscale eatery The Ivy so it can catch stars on camera. To avoid trouble, TMZ doesn’t set up stationary Webcams, but rather has the crew hold them up. The resulting video is streamed live on TMZ.com.
Can’t imagine anyone would care about live footage of Punky Brewster buying a cappuccino at Starbucks? In January, the gossip site attracted nearly 11 million visitors.
